FUTURE X AWARDED KEEPERS OF THE FLAME PRIZE IN FICTION
December 2024 — (Seattle, Washington) Raven Chronicles Press, dedicated to publishing and showcasing work that embodies the cultural diversity of writers and artists—work that connects with the soil-water-air of place and home—announces the winners of our inaugural fiction contest: Georg Koszulinski for his speculative fiction manuscript, Future X. Fiction Judge Paul Hunter says of Koszulinski’s book: “Future X is a bold and timely work. It is an honest and unflinching confrontation with much of what’s wrong with our shared culture, served up on a huge platter shaped like a strangely familiar election map. Koszulinski’s vision of madness, at once apocalyptic and dystopian, challenges readers to honestly assess their situation, and consider how we might live more modestly together in prosperity and peace, without resorting to genocide or war on civilians.”
